As well, all skills learned can equally be applied to all styles of EDM, ex: House, Deep House, Electro, Progressive, Trance, Tech House and Techno. The end of the course will also include business aspects, such as how to promote & market your productions into the promotional & retail markets, artist management, touring and more. Overall, it is designed to teach students of all levels, how to create their own productions from the very basics to advance levels and upon ending of the course the student shall have gained the knowledge to produce electronic dance music on a professional level.

The DAW used by Thomas Penton for all instructions will be Steinberg Cubase. But you do not need to use this specific software to gain most knowledge from this course. Our focus is to teach the overall theory & process of Electronic Music Production, so you may apply those same skills to your DAW of choice; such as Ableton, Logic, Cubase, Fruity Loops, etc. And Thomas Penton Drum & FXs sample packs will be provided to all students free of charge, and to be used during course sessions and yours to keep. All samples are royalty free. This is a $200 value available at www.Loopmasters.com.

How It Works:

Step 1: Inquiring students must email at info@arkatecmusic.com to reserve their spot in the upcoming course scheduled. We speak to each inquiring student individually to address their goals and concerns.

Step 2: Pay the fee. Once students have confirmed their reservation, then confirmation emails will be sent out prior the course starting date to review what is required from the student, upcoming sessions, and course fee. (The course fee is due in full by the day before the course begins. The fee amount is posted below. The fee is partially refundable if not satisfied, please see below for details.)

The email will consist of a link to a Two Hour Video Session that the student may view at their leisure. New session videos will be uploaded as the schedule indicates.
